Stopping DualSense controller audio
I hooked my dualsense controller up to my PC but still play this with kb + m.
However, when I shoot then some sound effects come from the controller (in addition to the regular audio). Is there no way to turn controller audio off in-game beside unplugging it?
In windows (11) I've already gone into the audio settings and selected "don't allow audio" for the controller speakers and microphone but in-game it doesn't seem to stop it...

Go to control panel then sound look for controller and disable it in playback for speakers and recording if you want controller mic disabled. Do this while controller is plugged in. It should save and you don't have to do it again unless you use a different controller.

FINALLY figured it out. In Steam I had to go to controller settings and then turn on Steam Input for the controller. That stopped the sound from coming out of my DualSense.

Just in case anyone ever runs into this issue in the future.
