in MW3 steam says it's 144 GB after i uninstalled DMZ & WZ, and in-game it says the MP is 23 GB and the campaign is 23 GB = TOTAL 46 GB, so where is the other 98 GB ?

Windows says it's 146 GB

i only own MW3, no other CoD HQ games

10. 87gb if you only have warzone make sure you go to properties from cod in steam library and you will see DLC and then you can unselect the free trial and other games.

However you probably have more gb because you have mw3 2023 or mw2 2022 also installed or Warzone. You only need Warzone 2023 installed. I have Warzone 2023 and Mw3 and I have 147gb but I have the vault edition.

After uninstalling dmz i now have 127.14gb

some skins apply to both mw2 and mw3, i dunno if all

okay i checked the file size on Steam again it must have needed more time to uninstall because it's now 114 GB

Uninstall isn't instant give it 2 mins or so.

the MP & campaign together are 46 GB so 68 GB is random stuff like Gunsmith and skins . . . quite amazing . . . but i gota say it's all awesome stuff.
also the shaders which get updated over-time are probably separate ?

i was a bit surprised but thinking it through all DLC would need to be installed because you obviously need your game to render whatever content other players own

Mp is 90 gb Warzone is around 20gb same as story.

i just have the base thing and mw3 installed and my size is like 91gb

The Base COD HQ files for the game are +60 GB in size afaik. The DLCs are just for the gamemodes.
