Unfair ban

I've been playing CAll Of Duty since MW 2019, I've never used any program to benefit myself or anything like that, today 05/09/2024, I went to enter the game and came across the message that I was permanently banned, even though I never used anything , you can appeal if you want.

You can be ban for glitching if reported. Even if you think the glitch isn't serious it doesn't matter. You did a glitch got reported and they ban you.

You can appeal a ban by using the appeal ban feature and do contact activision step.

Use a different activision account do the contact activision step and tell them you need help about your other activision account and tell them you were receiving a error for ban appeal so you had to create a new activision account to contact you about a ban issued on my account.

Or use better business bureau.

there is no appeal as it is agame ban witch is givin to you by some one at activsion menaing some one at there studio reviews your account and banned you them slef and you cannot appeal this ban as its perma banned issuied by them there self not there automated system as i quote there is no such thing as a false banned and it is final -Activsion 2024

Dai, I believe you. Same happened to me 3 days ago. 19 years on steam, never cheated, now banned from CoD. No glitching, hacks, abuse...nothing and no reason given for ban. What's worse, I can't even find out what they think I did nor talk to anyone to get it sorted.
I can't even appeal, as when I go to activision they confirm that there is no ban, so I'm stuck. I know that activision says that there are no false bans, but this simply isn't true as I know that I have not cheated, nor broken their ToCs. In fairness, Activision says I'm not banned, but Steam thinks they have, if that makes sense.

People will always not believe you, until it happens to them.

Sorry to come back into this, but I was just thinking about those of us who feel that we've been banned for no reason, and I'm not sure if this is going to make you feel better or worse Dai, but here's my tuppence worth either way:

I've now been banned for a couple of days, so the upset at the injustice of being labelled a cheater, has worn off a little. We, those falsely accused, come into these forums because we have nowhere else to go to try to find out what has happened and why. Unfortunately, these forum are also the home to, at worst, trolls who enjoy just baiting you, or at best, people who don't believe it's possible to get banned for no reason so will tell you, genuinely, that 'you must have done something'. This is an entirely understandable standpoint.
But both of these sets of people won't change their mind, no matter what you say, until it happens to them. So, my advice is to not get drawn in to long discussions that will only leave you frustrated and upset. Maybe, 3 days ago, I wouldn't have believed you either (I've never been on these forums before so not read posts like this before it happened to me) but I do now, so I think it's important to let you know that I, and a growing group of others, also believe you.

Secondly, (and this has taken me a couple of days to realise) it's not the end of the world, No one has died, you've not lost your job, you partner's not left you... I know it's upsetting to be innocently labelled, and frustrating that you're no longer able to play a game that you love, but there are other games. In the past couple of days I've rediscovered Apex for example and am loving it. I know that this isn't really the point, but that's where my mind is now. I'm trying to not let is ruin my long weekend!

Thirdly, I'm hopeful that Steam/Activision will realise that something's gone wrong with their systems and that they'll put right the wrong. They've not done this on purpose. It's simply a mistake/flaw in an algorithm etc and hopefully it will be sorted. It just won't happen overnight.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Not sure if it helps or not, but I guess I'm trying to say try not to let it ruin your next few days (as it did for me).

hey, thank you very much for your words, but it sucks that you're unfairly banned, because I've been playing since mw 2019, in this current cod I had 385 hours in the game, both multiplayer and warzone, I have money invested in the game, but also, but anyway, it's ok

but you dont seem to realize your account was reviewd by a staff member at activision and they banned you them self so what ever you did and think its not cheating or maybe you said something in chat point is you didi it no matter what you say cannot change that
