How to change Activision id numbers

Step 1 change your Activision name on callofduty.com or in game.

Then when you start game you will have a new Activision ID number so people can't add you or message you.

However if you were reported that would still apply if reported before name changed. If you change name only people in recent lobby can see your old name.

Anyone in a new lobby can't. Your friends won't know who you are so make sure you tell them.

i changed my name after switching to pc so it could match my steam name, not my ps5 name
