Game Wont Launch Ricochet Splash Screen Despite Validating Files and Driver Updates???
And no following that anime dorks guide doesn't produce ANY results. Drivers have been updated, config files for PC cores have been updated, still nothing, yes ADMIN mode, still nothing. Any other suggestions??? Please, and thank you in advance.

Damn since Season 3 Day One this garbage game has been broken. Skyrim and Fallout at least have fixes within 24 hours of an update. Pathetic Devs

I have the same problem the boot screen crashes or the game starts and closes after a couple of seconds

It freezes while playing the game as if you have a ping, it's better that the game never opens than to experience such problems in the game, if Activision does not take care of it, at the end of the day, players will feel very serious discomfort from this and will stop playing, eventually Activision loses

Absolutely. Agreed that even when you luckily bypass MY type of problem, yes you do deal with horrible PING and disconnects with loss of progress. Such a shame. 4 days into the season and its not even launch capable for a substantial portion of Steam and Battle.Net users. Im tired of the "guide" posters who think that preaching to the choir without reading is gonna help at all lol

Well...they had the right idea, nothing that you mentioned in OP is related to the PLAY button problem. You just have to find the software that COD doesn't like, like the guide tells you.
The problem with the game not launching is entirely software blacklisting related, and I can do NOTHING but have people tell me what software is causing this, if they come by this problem, so others can know. Don't blame me for it being ambiguous, blame Activision for not being clear on this matter.

I didnt, and didnt ask for you to explain anything to me, I did my own research and cross referenced your guide on my own time with no results. YOU came in here when you weren't asked to, and weren't needed. I asked for other help from OTHER users. Have a good day and stay out of my questions please. hi bro, I started the game a day later, but before that I checked the files and reinstalled 109 files. After that, the game started without any problems. Try to do the same, maybe you will succeed

I downloaded all files during validating and still have issues, I even reinstalled over 10 times over the course of these past 5 days. Seems to be something to simply wait out and hope for a proper universally working patch.

Your game is blocked by some third party program you have running on your PC.

Stop doing that reinstalling, it will NOT do anything better after first try.....

I was able to play all day yesterday but after today. my first 2 attempts to launch the game bluescreened my pc on launch. then after rebooting a third time the game would launch but tell me it requires a update in the launcher. however no updates are showing as available.

I cannot launch the game since the 4/4 update. Game is not being blocked by 3rd party I assume because it was working before this.... updated all drivers, verified game integrity. what a joke...
