Screen Menu turns straight black after downloading update. W

Anyone had this happen to them before? After the intro and loading all the stats, my screen just turns all black and there's nothing I can do. I'm new to PC gaming (got my PC a couple weeks ago), but was running COD with no problems yesterday.

Same here, the Season 3 update broke something(unsurprisingly). I think it might be related to shader compilation but I'm not 100% sure.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing... I think it is something with the shaders smh

i'm having the same issue. i've verified game file integrity and uninstalled (deleting settings folder in Documents)/reinstalled and issue persists

yep, uninstall/ reinstall didn't help at all. Guess I'll have to wait for an update to the update.

ive tried on my PS5 and now PC, Exactly the same issue. PC was a fresh install. black screen as soon as im on the menu..this is S***

on PC go to your game files -> cod23 -> delete everything that's in there -> reboot game and it'll re DL them. Should work, I'm going to try after next meeting.
