So I want to play Modern warfare 2 should I just buy 2 then? I looked at MW3 and it says any edition MW3 comes with MW2 and warzone. Im new to call of duty games. Is that just misleading marketing?
Basically what does this mean?
- ABOUT THIS GAME
Purchase any edition and receive:
- Available in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II and Call of Duty®: Warzone™:
-- Soap Operator Pack*
-- Zombie Ghost Operator Skin*
Ok cool, thanks for the info. Thats what I thought too because MW2 does not say the same thing under -About this game just MW3, so ill buy MW3 to play MW2 lol.
Choose mw3 then gameplay then can't connect online then click create a support ticket. https://support.activision.com/options?
Now im confused why even add this wording.
Purchase any edition and receive:
- Available in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II and Call of Duty®: Warzone™:
-- Soap Operator Pack*
-- Zombie Ghost Operator Skin*
Modern warfare 2 doesn't have that under about game.
Ok thank you
Welcome I also contacted them and ask them because I'm unsure. I'll post what they say.
You don't get both games. You just get skins that can be used in both games. Why they chose to do it this way, I don't know. If you want to play Call of Duty, you're better off just getting the latest one (MW3). Support for MW2 in terms of updating, new content, etc. has already ended, for the most part.
So you would have to ask steam support they said. I'm assume since when you go to the store page for mw3 2023
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2519060/Call_of_Duty_Modern_Warfare_III/
It says buy any edition to receive mw2 2022 so the only edition on the store page is the vault edition.
However if you buy it and load it up and don't have mw2 2022 just request a refund
The reason I say that is because valve support takes a while and the current deal could be gone before then.
