PERMA BAN (?)
EN: I'm deeply disappointed with Activision's support. They told me I was permanently banned for using unauthorized programs and altering game data. I recently re-downloaded the game and barely played for three hours. I know it might be hard to believe my ban was unjust here on this forum, but I'm sharing this because I'm genuinely frustrated with this situation.

When I asked for the real reason behind my ban, they said for security reasons they couldn't provide more details. This leaves me even more frustrated because if there really was an unauthorized program on my computer, I still don't know what it is. It makes me think that anyone could be banned for no reason as well.

I'm fully aware of what I do on my computer and would never compromise my Steam account, which I've always taken great care of.

Choose mw3 then gameplay then can't connect online then click create a support ticket. https://support.activision.com/options?

Other than that nothing you can do. When you create a ticket ask them and tell them everything you have running in the background.

You can also try to appeal it here.

Not trying to be that guy but, be honest did you cheat. Because I highly doubt they would just perma ban without reason.

If you really believe in the absolute decision of the Activision security team, congratulations.

But when you're next, don't be like me, just accept it

I've never been so honest.

You can doubt it, you have your right, but I'm not here to prove my innocence. I'm here to warn you that it can happen and you won't know what caused it, because they won't tell you and your case will be closed.

If you 100% didn't cheat then don't run whatever you had in the background

If you create a new Activision account or be a tester and record run one program in the background and repeat to see what caused ban then tell them about it to appeal your old ban.

Or tell us every program you had running in the background when playing game. Then someone could attempt this and see if it happens to them by recording it.

How do you see time stamps??? I can never find that information.

Also there is alot of people who use Steam Achievement Manager to reset achievements however some may use it for more darker purposes but game developers can ban for it if they want to not sure if Call of Duty does.

Valve only bans for it in Vac protected games I think.

But since this tool was created there is some people who think people cheated achievements but there is no way to tell unless you can see time stamps but they could reset achievements and re earn them which is what some people do they earn achievements then reset them and reearn them.

So every person with tons of achievements they think they cheated just because they know this tool exists. It corrupted minds so now you got to second guess.

It is hard to believe you since Activision barely takes any action with 100% confirmed cheaters. If it got to you, you probably did something, and it would be no wonder since cheaters are also shameless liars. In alternative, don't use cheats or "help" programs, or even screen recording stuff. Either way this game punishes everyone who tries to play honestly more than cheaters themselves.
