There will always be modders in online games there isn't no magic option to stop them once and for all. You can only report them they investigate they ban and hope cheater doesn't find a way back.
The only reason modders do it is because they think they are cool, good or don't care about other people's fun and only themselves or they hate a company.
Kids see videos of them on YouTube then they think they can do it which later they find out it is not allowed but some kids only learn till they get a ban firsthand.
I don't know probably lol I only encountered one to two cheaters every 3 or so matches. They are a pain but they aren't immortal.
Platinum+ in ranked resurgence I see blatant cronus / xim users every game, zero recoil, aim sticks almost identical to an aimbot, or I just see literal aimbotters / wallhackers
Yeah ranked is where they are mostly at because they want to be good.
It is not useless lol if no one reported nothing would happen against a cheater that uses glitches or mods.
