Directx Error fix... 0x887A0005 (0x887A0006) (6068) D

Im not gonna go into how long or how often ive been kicked, but probably like urselfs i have tried every fix on you tube, google, reddit, and on here through various links. until someone gave me a tip and its been 3 days total of about 10 or 12 hours with being kicked out. I dont know if this will work for every one, maybe it is true that there is so many reasons why this can happen.

but i will describe what issue i was having and if u are suffering the same maybe it will solve the issue for u also. usually what i would have was a freeze mid game whether that be warzone, MP, or ranked and then i would be kicked with this error. i was certian it was a steam issue or activision, because no matter how many times i integrated files in steam i was getting 71 corrupted files.. i still dont know why this is.. but hey. i would repeat and repeat still 71.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. anyways my graphics card is a radeon 6900 xt..

this maybe only an AMD fix i dont kno but i would definitly try this for nvidia u might get lucky also.. if not u just change back its a very simple fix..

the adrenalin 24.1.1 update on my grapics card was the problem i did a roll back and changed the settings that it would not automatically update itself and as i said its been perfect so far..

its very simple to do just unistall the current and google how to download an older version for your graphics card.. and dont forget to turn off auto update..

the reason i had to share this is i know how frustrating this issue is.. and also pretty much everyone says at the begining is check for windows updates.. then check ur graphics driver update..

if i do have a directx error come up in the near distant future i will update this.. if this helps for you spread the word..

AMD Fix ...... Delete the 24.1.1 adrenalin software (with DDU in windows safe mode) and install the 23.12.1 version.

Anyone tested the 24.2.1? Some says it fixed the issues and haven't seen anyone talk about it..

I'm also having the same problem and I tell you that with version 24.2.1. the problem is not solved. I will download 12.23.1. and I'll tell you

Just got a 3 crashes today on WZ on 24.2.1 too.

No way...
I downloaded version 23.12.1. but it doesn't seem to solve the problem.
As soon as I started the game, I had almost finished a multiplayer game (so I thought the problem was solved) and here it crashes again. This time with error 0x00001337.

After this I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it but as usual: yet another fail. Two crashes with error 0xC0000005.

At this point I check the game files and it tells me that there are 88 unvalidated files and it downloads them.

But as usual: CRASH

I tried all 3 version no solution. previously using 23.12.1 and 24.1.1 no issue, once the directx issuer happen try reinstall and update window and reinstall the game issue continue

I lowered the max mhz of my GPU to 2400. I lowered it 100mhz down erery chrash. The lower i get, less chrashes happened. 2400 was sweetspot for me. no chrash since 2 days. And believe me i tried everything, that was the only thing that works for me.

try updating you microsoft visual C++... i updated them all i had like 5 differant ones.. maybe that helps. i dunno but i did that at the same time i switched to the previous version of adrenaline.. so maybe it was that..
