I don't like it any more, gready lazy devs and ♥♥♥♥♥ anti cheat, rinse and repeat new games, with nothing but problems if this is the future of AAA games these days them i see better from smaller nwer devs teams that make great and much better games

A dead body is still popular with the flies, maggots, and vultures for quite some time.
Most played? You mustn't have heard about Helldivers 2. Surely this most played comment is a joke. Call of Duty is very slowly dying because there are simply much better games to play now. It's not forum post worthy "game is dying" kind of rate either.
EDIT: Also, people who do annoying and cheesy tactics during matches also drive players away to these better games. Things like riot shields, knifers, RPGs, corner campers, "snipers" whether that is quick scoping with a canted laser sight or hard camping, and the bunny hoppers. That new aftermarket part for the haymaker is on the list too actually. All of these things suck the fun out of the game, make matches slow and quiet, infact any TDM that reaches time limit is a sad excuse of a match and is more a waste of time than anything else.
