Players get confused and can't get the proper solution with all this links....
And, to get help from Activision is a no brainer. Take weeks, with junk answer from them.
Glad to know it wasnt just me with this issue.
Edit: Prior to what I just did, I had tried:
- running steam on admin mode
- verifying integrity of game files (wouldnt finish the download it promoted following that)
- restarted my pc multiple times
- deleted files in my download cache folder on steam in case that was the issue.
I am now at 100%, and the game is booting up.
What I did that FIXED it for me was:
- open "command prompt" but running as administrator
- type: netsh winsock reset
- press enter
- restart pc
then try your download/update again!
Good luck! if this doesnt work for anyone, let me know, and I will do more troubleshooting
Let me know if this doesnt help you and I'll see what other info or suggested fixes i can find online.
Lol no.
