Why do developers allow cheating? What benefit does the company get from this?
Using anti-cheat to stop aim bots is both theoretically and practically possible, but the reason developers don't pursue this route is because the majority of their customers are actually cheating in some form. Imagine if nearly 70% of players were banned; it would be impossible to keep the game running. However, by allowing cheating to some extent, the game won't suddenly die but will instead gradually fade as players get tired of each other. This way, Activision can sustain itself longer.

Look, whenever a new game is released, they pretend to fight cheating to sell the game. They impose superficial bans ranging from 50,000 to 70,000 just to appease the market. The goal is to deceive their players and give them false hope, thereby ensuring they buy the new game.

I match up with controller users on the PS platform, and believe me, the battles are more honorable compared to those on PC. I have no complaints about controllers, and I especially love matching up with controller players.

It is because of controllers.

Most cheats are basically a certain hardware that you can buy that Emulates a controller, while you play with Mouse and Keyboard. So you get a legit aimbot and can not be stopped or banned, unless you ban every controller user.

Thats why unless they separate KB+M and Controller lobbies - there will be people using this. And it's not that expensive by the way ...

Guess why it's "sold out"

PC users use aim bots and present it to you as if it's aim assist. Connecting a controller to a PC doesn't mean they're not using wallhacks and aimbots. Also, I want to reiterate that even if they use third-party products like Cronus, playing on a console is much more honorable and acceptable. PC users have stopped playing the game and are just trying to screw each other.

Believe me, third-party hardware can also be easily detected.

Some people really do take games far too seriously. Playing a game on a console or PC is all well and good and a fun way to kill time, but certainly not honorable.

Activision supports cheating streams so they can continue to keep the viewers engaged in their product.

Buddy, there is an honorable way to kill time. Brainless bastard some PC players, blinded by rage, using cheats to ruin your game and negatively impact your gaming experience should not be seen as an acceptable way to spend time.

Most of the people that complain that its PC players that hack and cheat, are console players. I remember a time when console players said they would own PC players if there were ever cross platform games. We PC players giggled. now that the opportunity has arrived to own us PC players reality has set in. YOUR $500 CONSOLE CANT BEAT OUR PC'S. claiming PC players hack and cheat is a compliment for us. thinking everyone on PC is hacking means you need to get better. We told ya'll console players you weren't ready.

Maybe because Sony has it banned so they are no longer carrying it? Not sure if it's moved over to xbox as well yet.
Well, there is this report....

There is a workaround on PS5. Easy to google and figure it out. They can't stop it, but kudos on Sony for trying. Now activision could ban cronus users, but you know how much money they'd lose if they did that?

The essence of the matter is that creating a system capable of easily detecting aimbots and wallhacks is both theoretically and practically possible. Yet, we were discussing why the company allows cheaters. We're not talking about how far you can piss.

Just look at the history of these games and the hacks. Almost seems like they sell the hack for their own game, then they create a new game and we fools think theyll fix it this next time. History repeats itself with these games over and over.

Why? Money is why because they are not fixing the cheating problem within the game.

First days of S4 and they're all back in on free weekend.

Activision is 2 faced, they allow the streaming cheaters but on the other face say that they dislike cheaters. You can't trust Activision at all.

Activision only allow the cheaters that bring in the cash to Activision.

The streamers are dipsticks and I will play any of them in a LAN tourney where they can't touch the PC's or bring their own mouse or keyboard. I would challenge them any day of the week.

Most of the streamers can't play for chit and I would prove this.
