Audio and Footsteps

I sometimes see other players wait around a corner like they can hear my footsteps, I know there is a perk but they don't use the perk,

how are they doing this and how can I make footsteps louder?

Sound (Loudness) EQ. Basically an extremely OP (some call it cheating) sound quality boost that lets you hear darn near everything, from very far away.

Just Google it and you'll see tons of videos about it.

Why would people call it cheating when it's literally an option in your headset windows settings? :D

Because anything that gives people an extra advantage, people call cheating.

Aim assist and the eq thing though won't get you banned. It just people need something to complain about for why they died.
