Packet burst and stutters
I recently upgraded from a ps4 to PC mainly to have better performance on call of duty to compete with iris cause its my favorite game. Instead, I now get unbearable packet burst and stutters frequently every minute or so in game. My wifi is an Ethernet cable typically sititng with below 30 ping and shows no latency rise on any games. My system is a Ryzen 7 7800x3d and 4070 TI Super. I have done a lot to try and resolve this with updating bios, drivers, resetting my wifi a couple different ways, lowering my frame rate limit to my monitors 165hz, lowering VRAM scale target to as low as possible since I have a lot of open space. Probably more that I am forgetting. This is all for Multiplayer ranked, no warzone. Just submitted a ticket to activision but was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions. Will the game possibly run better on battlenet?

Anyway, uhm... Can you retry the VRAM scale? My guide already explains how you should be doing it but to save time...

There's a bar to the right.
White lines, grey lines, no lines.

Make sure when you're tuning VRAM scale that it doesn't go below, only slightly above the WHITE lines. If it's too far, try increasing the Texture Quality, it has little to no performance loss.

If that doesn't work out for you, I guess you need to tune the CPU stuff? You have a pretty beefy CPU, so it might be misconfigured in teh config files. Again, my guide covers that.

Up'd VRAM usage to as close as possible. Changed renderworkercount from 9 to 8. Is there anything else CPU related that it could be? I appreciate the help

Did that not do it for you? Well, last things you could try is...making sure Game Mode is ON in Windows, and turn down CPU-related settings in graphics. Not much you can do if you're CPU bound. My friend knows that pain.

that can be cause your wifi or do you use Ethernet hard wired it does make differnce wifi you always have some burst and the stuttring can be as simple as ssd or nvme or hd installed on

I actually messed with the texture quality a little more and opened an app in the background to get the VRAM closer to the target line. It seems to have worked for now! Thank you for the help!

Remember WHITE bar needs to be close to the line, not the GREY bar.
