is it worth getting MW3 just for MWZ?
just want to make an informed decision before buying

just to clarify, i'm fully aware that MWZ has barely any late game content (or even any at all), but i believe that i would enjoy the gameplay loop of dropping in, looting, doing missions, then exfilling. I'm more than likely going to get it on sale cuz it makes no sense buying a 100$ DLC for MW2 lmao

No.

Once you do what Content is in Zombies the game mode will be dry and the only things left to do is either play Multiplayer or Warzone if your into either of those things.

Content updates for Zombies is only really coming with each Mid Season update.

You can grind Zombie camos but it's only to really show off in Multiplayer.

MWZ is dry. At Launch it was cool and new but it's almost Season 03 already and we do not even have a new Map to play on like how DMZ got Ashika and Vondel, Koshcei Complex, Building 21 and so on. The only new things are short Rift runs to get new Items and then your back in the same map doing the same Contracts over and over again.

It depends on how you play MWZ, honestly. If you're running with a squad then yeah you can fly through what's there and get bored. Or you could run Solo like I do and make it through 2/4 pages of missions before hitting a wall. Despite being on Act 2 Finale for like, months now I still play zombies because I enjoyed the idea of DMZ but didn't like the absurd amount of shootymans and hostile players. MWZ solves that. Very few shootymans unless you specifically go to them and players can only somewhat mess with you (popping tires, etc).

If you enjoy the DMZ loop then you might enjoy Zombies beyond the Story Missions. Depends on how much you like to relax while playing. I usually just dink around in the open world while listening to a podcast. It's a perfect after work wind down for me.

edit: I'd wait for a sale before wasting 100 bones and not liking the mode. Since they merged the clients you will never get a refund because it combines your playtime for all games under the COD client. That's how I'm at 1.2k hours despite only playing a few hours a day, it includes my MW22 playtime.

Then again I played 8k hours of TF2 on primarily 2-5 maps so repetitious content doesn't really bug me if I'm still having fun.

i'm on the same boat with you with DMZ, i don't really like it being PvPvE, and MWZ solves really the only issue i have, but yeah, i'm just gonna get it on good sale and just see how i go

it depends whether or not you have a crew to play with

Did they ever even bother fixing the short Map timers, cooldowns on gear & lost loot on disconnects/crashing ?

Game has been uninstalled for months now so curious

Looks like vaporware for Zombies
