Crashing when try to go into graphic settings or close the game.

Anyone else is having this issue?
I open the game and all loks fine but as soon as I click on graphic settings my game crashes, the same thing happend when I try to close the game.
Also when trying to repare the game by steam tool it displays that will download 84 files but inmediatly after that I execute the files verification again and it says exactly the same.

Well, like almost all of us who are here, errors and failures everywhere that not even they know how to solve and within a year they will release another game and they will wash their hands of it.
You have to be a sheep to continue buying games from this franchise.

Same issues here. Also if the in-game update requires a restart that will cause the same freeze then crash to desktop as well.

This all started with the mid-season update for Season 2. Happens on my desktop and laptop.

I've been building computers since you were probably in diapers so don't tell me (and others) it's my/our "**** pc" when it is 100% the game and lazy incompetent dev team for a s***y company.

Yep, learned my lesson the hard way and this is the last. I went almost 10 years until a buddy got me into MW2 for DMZ which I loved. MW3 is a travesty and complete POS that was lazy in every possible way and keeps getting worse. I've uninstalled and will never touch this franchise again. Hope others do the same. Anything with the ActiBliz on it's is garbage now, just look at Diablo 4. Everything COD and ActiBliz in general I'm done with. Too many other great games that are more deserving of my time anyway.

I had the same problem yesterday. I managed to fix it by uninstalling Malwarebytes

I had the same problem yesterday. I managed to fix it by uninstalling Malwarebytes

I really hope that’s not what it takes for my game to work.
Makwarebytes Premium blocks a lot of garbage.

Well, I managed to fix it too but I tried so many things that I don't know what was the one that worked so there is a list of all:

• repair game files and not openning the game until the end of all this steps.
  
• disable xmp profile
  
• enable cpu virtualization
  
• disable xbox game var and discord overlay
  
• update graphics drivers
  
• set up windows in performance mode
  
• and finaly closed malwarebytes process

As I said I´m not sure of what is the solution but I hope I can help someone in the same situation because hoping that this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ billion dolar company makes something right is a lot to ask apparently.

I've been dealing with this issue since the last update. Crashes every time i go into the graphics menu. The worse part is the setting reset to lowest possible resolution and it looks
like im playing ps2 lol.

Ok, tried something different after previous post from smarter people.
Malwarebytes Premium added Steam folder as an exclusion.
Started game in safe mode and she fired right up back to normal.

I don't cry, I tell the truth and I have a PC cucumber that plays all the titles on the market in ultra quality and with maximum RT and smooth as butter, clever, keep feeding this garbage dump and they will give you garbage.
