Content File Locked

[!MTF!]

After the latest update for Call Of Duty, the game stopped loading (updating). As soon as I finish the update, Steam gives an error: content file locked. I have tried all possible solutions, from disabling antivirus to completely reinstalling the game. Nothing helped. Other games do not have this issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Same here. I tried everything to fix the issue. Hopfully they patch this issue. I doubt its a steam issue, im sure it has to do with the files for the update

Same issue. I however, have my game downloaded to an external. Going to uninstall and move the game to my internal HDD, & see if that helps.

having the same issue at the moment. been giving me a headache doing all the steps I found on google/YouTube to eventually contacted steam support and they told me to find someone locally to fix the issue. lol

"the Run cmd.exe as administrator, Type netsh winsock reset" step definitely did not work for me. (just in case)
