game stuck on "checking for update"

just updated and game has been checking for new update at startscreen for over 4 minutes, anyone else have this problem?

EDIT: cLOSED THE GAME AND RESTARTED IT, WAITED FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTS AND IT WORKED, NOW PLAYING.

same. I browsed local game files, and deleted the cache files. rebooted. COD saw an update and restarted, buts issue persists :(

UPDATE: I went into properties for COD and went to installed files then clicked on manage file integrity and now its been updating. I also set it to high priority for updates. Will see if it resolves it once complete
