You can't really figure out how SBMM works. Activision lies and trying to figure it all out will just hurt your head. Then you will need to borrow an Excedrin from me.
I have 1753 games in Warzone and I still don't know how SBMM works.
Now hurt your head with Skill-Based-Damage...
And remember Activision is not your friend.
Isn't all damage skill based damage? Or is there some rabbit hole where good players get weaker bullets?
And yeah I don't need to have the system all figured out. Just wanna know how long it takes to stabilise, it's very out of tune for me rn.
Well a lot of people these days are hacking and I mean a lot. So you might be better than you think. A good RIG and 240 Hz monitor can give you a little advantage with a good internet connection. I pull 120 FPS in Warzone and I just use a $15 MSI Clutch GM08 gaming mouse and a $15 Logitech keyboard and I'm pretty good. But I've been playing for years though.
COD isn't really a SKILL based game, but you can get better at the game, takes a couple months or so to get really use to things.
With the way Activision codes the game you can never get really SKILLED at COD. Because in short Activision is cheating you with the way that they write the code.
It's not a fair game, it's just something to do to waste the little time that GOD has given you on this planet.
And yes weaker bullets in a sense.
Do you think that Activision are going to tell people that there is SBD?, come on now. That they are cheating their own game with the way that they code COD. Would end the so called SKILL theory.
They lie all of the time, pfft. No White List for streamers and so on and that RICOSHIT Anti- Cheat works, hahahahahahahahaha.
Please report hacks to Activision during your matches because we're to lazy to do anything with our / their $69 billion dollars to stop cheaters.
I've gotten over that hump. Life has move on. Now looking at getting a 49" widescreen gaming monitor. The money is gone, oh well.
They could have used my money to buy a real Anti-Cheat, but no that would be silly.
If you're doing good and having fun eventually you will suffer, you will notice it.
In MW 2019 / BOCW / Vanguard the punishment cycle lasted few matches then you were getting normal ones with occasional bot match if you suffered too much, but they changed the algorithm in MW2 2022 and you could suffer for days until it started giving you normal matches and sometimes you had days of good matches.
I remember I wished I didn't buy the game because for the first week I was getting destroyed in most matches. I also remember when they released Vondel map, I had days of good matches on 6v6 Vondel playlist, felt like the old days, they clearly changed algorithm for a while.
Recently I reinstalled MW2 2022 and was having fun for one day with consistently ending at the top, even lost matches felt good, next day it's back to usual suffering, uninstalled immediately.
The SBMM in this game is not like you would expect in ranked where every player is similar rating, it's used to arrange matches where you will have fun and suffer, they're fixated with this idea that making you suffer increases your engagement or something.
Plus, you can't trust Activisions untrustworthy / dirty coding.
Yep, it's obvious cause you can actually see your bullets doing no damage from 10 feet away.
The enemy becomes an instant bullet sponge.
2. Level means nothing. The other day I was on a team of all 250's and we got demolished by a team with one player over 100. I'm 265ish right now and not good. I just play every day.
To you and me maybe. Some people are wayyyyyyyyy too serious. They kill me before I see them, hit an injection and dolphin dive around a corner to kill me before I fully spawn. They are not here to relax.
I agree with you a lot, but there is something to this. I had a monster game with 32 kills and 2 deaths and on the next map my sniper took 2 shots every time, unless it was a head shot. That's one example that just happened, but I've had countless maps where, after a particularly good game, I needed to hit more shots to down someone.
