PHD Flopper bug?

So apparently the only perk that prevents you from harming yourself when using the raygun lost the ability to not do that, is this a bug? Because I've tested it multiple times where I drank the PHD flopper perk, threw a semtex near me, and all my armor got shredded.

It's a bug i guess, hellhound splash damage affect me but when i walk on the fire it didn't do a thing, i got the perk active too.

PHD no longer save you from you own damages, from hellbound fire and no longer works to stay underwater

why would I even use phd then ? The perk is useless now just like tombstone. I guess they really wanna ruin the minimal fun the game has until nothing is left.

I don't see the immunity to explosives description anymore. I think they nerfed it. Can't say that it wasn't broken for the grenade launcher, but the special weapons actually sound like a proper use for it.

yeah at least the y changed the raygun otherwise it would still be unasable
