MW3 Cross-Platform multiplayer

So I just purchased the game to play with a friend who has the game for PS4. How do I enable crossplay? I've seen videos for how to do it simply within the game options for console, but not for PC. How do I access this setting? And another question further, how do I add them as friends to play together being on different platforms?

On crossplatform, you are friends on Activision. That means you are friends in the game and not on steam or ps4. When you are on steam, crossplay is already enebled.
Ps4 has to eneble it or it is on by default. I don't know about PS.
Then you both log on and start the game. In there you can join together.

I dont know how you do it, but i have many friends in game on other platforms.
That means we have played together ane there ask to be friends.
