Now I know nothing about GHub as I use a Xbox controller, but if a piece of software has capabilities to spoof a game into thinking you're using a controller when you are indeed using a keyboard and mouse and aim assist is then able to be turned on for said keyboard and mouse when it shouldn't, then by definition that's called cheating since you are gaining an advantage that other keyboard and mouse users would normally not have.

I was trying to make the argument that just cause someone has that software it automatically means that it would only be used to get aim assist on the mouse. But then i thought well maybe here on this forum that most of the people that had it installed were using it to get a leg up. Which is just funny to me cause i find that aiming with the mouse is so much easier for me anyway. and people are crying about how its unfair for controller players to have aim assist while mouse and keyboard players don't. If anyone was using it just to get the aim assist then maybe they should just be playing with a controller.
I can see two ways people used it, 1. people that didnt want to learn the mouse and 2. people that were skilled with the mouse and have a leg up on ranked just enough to enhance their skill. how long was rewasd out there and how long were people using it. Judging by how many people post here about their gaming crashing it seems like a lot. Lol and right before ranked comes out. nice. I never understood cheating it takes away from the hard work of learning the skill and how it feels as your skill improves as a result of practice. but i can also see that people wouldnt feel they needed to cheat if public matches didnt feel like ranked where its hard to feel like you are getting better. I don't mind playing like that, it just gets old and irritating after a while cause if you arnt putting 100% in at all times its gonna result in a lot of respawning. not that im saying thats an excuse to cheat. the way i see it there is no excuse to cheat.
