PS5 controller not working

for some reason my PS5 controller wont work on the game anymore. i was wondering if this is happening to other people or if its just me

My PS5 Pro controller paddles stooped last night, weird one. can only use them now with steam input enabled which is a big L, any solution peeps?

Works for me. I launch the game in big picture mode. Since I'm on steam deck, I have, once the game starts, to set the PS5 controller to be the first one inside the steam menus and that's it.
Steam input is set to disabled.

This is a problem since new steam update. It broke ps4 controllers too.

finally fixed it. you have to enable Steam Translation Input for the game in your steam library and also have to make sure to enable the back button in that same menu as well or else you will NOT be able to map your buttons to them in game. i learned the hard way and wasted 1 hour exp tokens smh. hope this helps some people
