Something just isn't right with Sidewinder

How is the Sidewinder even a thing when compared to literally any other gun? It breaks my heart that the Northern Lights blueprint is on the Sidewinder... This gun... I can't even.

I have gotten it to forged and done the kills for it and I despise the gun, I don't think it has a single feature on it that isn't better else where and it felt outclassed in every fight.

I did hear the BR guns do more damage in single fire mode which I didn't know till I stopped using it but that's something to try for the next challenges when I go back around to the BR's.

But yeah shoots slower than basically all auto guns, doesn't do any kind of improved damage, blooms to much with very few rounds fired in the few builds I used even when I tired to correct it.

So in my experience no redeeming features when literally any other gun is better, I had a better time getting the gilded and forged kills on the pistols.

the sidewinder is horrible
high recoil, low firerate, and subpar damage doesn't make a good gun
sure it has the ability to kill in 3 bullets

all of the ar's are more usable, smg's will out damage you, dmr's (minus mayble the sl8) do more damage and the sl8 fires much faster, not to even mention the 6.8 full auto

You guys just suck and can't use different playstyles. Nobody is claiming it's the best gun in the game, but pretending like it's useless is the actual delusion.

i never said it was useless
that's your brain telling you that
it probably is ok when it's leveled
but it just isn't a viable weapon in higher skilled lobbies
putting a bunch of attachments that slow the weapon down is a horrible idea when you're facing slide cancellers and people who jumpshot every corner
this guy's gameplay is against obviously lower skilled players
the most i saw was a single guy jumpshot

what "other playstyles"
the guy was playing the gun like it was an ar, just a bit on the slower side
which is basically how the br's are used in game
the difference is that every other ar would've outgunned it if a similar skilled player had it
it is worse than every other gun in it's class
it is easily the worst automatic gun in the game
it can work
but any other ar/ br can do the job just as good if not better
for example
what reason would you use that over the bas-b?
or the mtz-762
i really can't think of one
the real only reason i can think of is just that you want to use something else

not really sure how much it did though
but yeah
basically anything else is easier to use/ has a much better reward for using it
like the bas-b just is straight up better in almost every way

I was actually okay with the revolver, it was harder than the other pistols but it only took two shots at most to get a kill and setting it up with the increased fire rate and more stable recoil allowed for a good follow up shot if the first didn't get the kill.

The revolver was fun to use after upgrading it to function like a mini sniper rifle. The Sidewinder is crap no matter how you configure it.

- Entra en AMD Adrenalin Software
- Selecciona "Inicio"
- En la parte de "Pefil de Graficos"
- Selecciona "Administrar Perfil"
- Baja hasta al final donde dice "Opciones Avanzadas"
- Selecciona "Restablecer Memoria Cache de Sombreadores"

Yeah, if you have good aim and muscle memory to control the recoil its a decent gun, The sidewinder almost only kicks vertically and just has a ton of visual recoil. Its not bad, the players are bad because they need their no recoil mcw meta class to actually preform well.

The video proves it's viable and not the worst gun. Cry somewhere else, nobody will make that blueprint for a different gun for now. Maybe in the future you'll get it, but for now deal with reality.

Btw the gameplay is in core and i think that your opinion is kinda garbage, if you just aim upper body this thing can 2 shot in full auto with or without headshots. Second of all the mobility is still good without any attachments( did i say that the sidewinder two shots without any attachments?) and the recoil is mainly visual recoil. If you learn to ignore the visual recoil this gun is good.

it's just not
it's not terrible
i used it a bit to see how it does in my lobbies (actual sweats unlike this video's, where the enemies are 3 iq off of being lobotomites)
with attachments it can be good if you're playing slow
mainly a sight and muzzle break
but would i rather use it over any of the ar's? no
they are faster, have better fire rates, lower recoil, more margin for error, and more variety in how you can build them, more competitive in objective play.
damage isn't everything for a gun, or everyone would be using a non snake shot tyr and a sniper or the 6.8 full auto, which can also kill in 2 bullets but has a faster fire rate
