At least I don't have to empty an entire mag on enemies to get them down.
I am glad hardcore is extremely popular in MW3.

I should not be required to aim for the head to take so many shots. It breaks immersion for me. Hence I prefer hardcore.

I do play normal sometimes, but generally speaking it frustrates me how the damage model is built around arcade.

You don't need to aim at all if on controller. Hardcore is overall a more fair game. Although it seems about 90% of steam players are using controller now so that tells you all you need to know.

don't miss 2/3rd of your bullets and you'll kill your enemies faster
cod has historically had 4-5 shot kills for most guns
play anything prior to mw2019 and most guns are going to kill in 4 or 5 shots
especially if you have a suppressor
and im not sure how cod is immersive to anyone
when you have skeletor, alucard, 21 savage, and a literal demon and angel slide cancelling at mach 10

I can play core or Hardcore but I prefer Hardcore honestly - I don't get the disagreement about what modes to play. Let them play what they want and be done with it. Shouldn't matter about it either way

tbh OP is not wrong at all. Its weird that an smg can kill you in 3 shots on midrage while an AR needs at least 5 (both upper body/neck hight) on the same range

seems like a skill issue to me. i never have problems regarding the time to kill. alltough this post seems like a bait.

what breaks immersion for me is how when i die i spawn back in the game 1 second later, that isn't realistic. what also breaks muh immersion is when i'm using a gun and i get a pop up in game about it leveling up cause that also isn't realistic.
