friends are all offline, so am i. cant join or invite anyone?

literally everyone is offline so am i. the farthest i can get is into a voice party w/ my friend. reset my game like 6x and pc this ♥♥♥♥♥ scuffed

Hi I had the same problem ... try to open the cod hq then go to dmz to launch mw2 and then you should be able to join your friends... If not let them create a party in dmz and then go back to mw3

unfortunately thjis is the only workaround... you can let steam check for corupt files and do that until it is fixed that also worked for me

Change your clan tag! Mine was showing up weird (Z81i)

I had to dl Warzone on a console, link my account, then i was able to go in and change my clan tag. Then i restarted and everything was working.

Hope this helps, someone else told me about this fix.

yeah my clan tag is glitched its [m] and when i go to edit it it doesnt allow me. ill have to download wz on my xbox one day. so aids that a simple thing like friends list doesnt work :( thank you a lot though for the recommendation

There is no official fix from them but there is a workaround and it works for sure.
Anyone who tries and does not see their friends online will see that the clan tag has also changed and cannot be changed.
What I did was connect to my account (COD) from Sony (I'm a PC player) and I changed it (the clan tag) there and it worked again on the computer and I see my friends online

Go to PS5 or Xbox & log into the problem account
Reset clan tag
Reopen /restart steam or battlenet
and now it works

Hi there everyone,

Remove the "M" from your clan tags. For those who know how to do this, your done.

If you are having this problem, there is an easy fix, not sure if this works on the consoles but works 100% for PC's.

Steps:
Have a look at the top right of your screen
The second icon to the left is your profile icon click on it.
The last option will be to edit the clan tag.

Now remove the "M" in your clan tag or rename it to something with no "M".

And you are done...

Thank you. With this I corrected the error. I logged into my brother's PS4 with my username and my clan tag was like [is], I changed this with my name. When starting the game on the PC, the list of connected friends was already displayed.

Interesting that the clan tag generates such a big bug.
