RIP DMZ without battle pass. Whats the most similar game? Escape Tarkov?

They just killed dmz by excluding it from battle pass! Goodbye pve/pvp extraction mode. They do what people want i guess but...but its sad for dmz fans. All those dmz operator and weapons bundles and now they just kill it

Dmz is officially dead. Developers confirmed they are no longer updating it. Unfortunately extraction shooters are very complex games and its hard to create in depth systems for a casual audience, and because of that, AAA companies have mostly stayed clear of the subgenre.

Escape from tarkov is the best iteration of this formula by far. It is so good that I couldn't bring myself to enjoy DMZ at all. Its the best FPS game I've ever played. Its also completely ruined by cheaters, and one of the most addictive games for me personally. Quiting EFT was harder for me than quitting cigarettes.

too many babies cried about DMZ being pvp so they gave us childish zombies PVE soooo boring.

I guess they were too busy making a 3 hour campaign and reusing maps from 2009s MW2 to do anything creative... Laughable.
