can you change from push to talk to open mic?

if yes, please send a quick screenshot because i cant find the option.

Goto the Audio settings, and looks for the area where you select the microphone. The first option in that area is set to Push to Talk. Click it and change to always open.

Please only do this if you play in a silent environment with a good well setup mic that is not either up your nose or in the back of your throat though for the sake of everyone else on comma with you.

There are like 3 options in the voice section... one of them is picking push-to-talk and voice detection... It should be easy enough to find. This is in the Audio section.

dont worry, i have a super nice mic on my HS.
i can whistle, scratch on the mic or even eat chips and you will hear NOTHING! plus voice not cutting out at all. hyperX cloud 2 in case you want to know. its awesome.

Why? You'll get a warning and possibly banned for trash talk (I got hit with one yesterday lol). I wasn't even popping off, but just the simple you're garbage, you're trash, yadayada just to add life to the lobby and get under the enemy teams skin like the old days. Trash talk and competition is what made MW2 2009 so godlike. The core game is a busted and trashy masterpiece, but it's the lobbies that added the icing to the cake. You talk your trash and duke it out, and you end up adding each other as friends in the end or you can make a permanant rival which allows you to improve your game and get them back in a another lobby lol. Those days are gone now :(

i just want to communicate with people in zombie mode, without the need of pressing a button all the time. which can be very uncomfortable at times, especially in a hectic situation. im not rly into trashtalk tbh.

but if you like doing it, then yeah, those days are pretty much gone now.
it feels like every freaking company transforms into a special cupflake, trying to please other very special cupflakes.
