Updating the game from the launcher

i was trying to play the game, until i got this sign on my screen saying ''Update available, update the game at the launcher'' it said something familiar to that, i went to the launcher and didn't find that there was an update that it was downloading, or it just me who is doing it wrong. i need some help.

It always do this automatically to me. Once that I just had to restart Steam then it downloaded.

for me it updated automaticlly all the time, but this time something is wrong.

same. Tried to change update settings - no result.

i found a solution. go to steam >> find call of duty in your game library >> right click on it and click on properties >> installed files >> verify integrity of game files. worked for me

guys found a solution, but not for everyone.
so when you are in the game, ask a friend to invite you in a party. in right side corner accept it. Then ask friend to launch anything and this notice will go away
