Even in-game it says it's not installed, but the 20gb is still in there.
How do we remove it, without reinstalling the whole game?
Right click the game on steam > properties > installed files > verify integrity of game files
After it is done it will install a small update. Worked for me, reduced the size from 100GB to 79GB.
That's only for people who own MW3, free trial ended so they removed the MW3 for ppl who don't own the dlc.
They left us with 20gb of files, which we can't remove or if they tell us which files MW3 are so we can manually remove them.
Ok, you are right. Even if you uninstall the whole game through steam, it will still leave about 20 GB worth of files in the 'steamapps/common/Call of Duty HQ' folder.
Unfortunately the files aren't organised into one folder, there are over 4000 individual files. So it seems like the only course of action is to uninstall the game through steam, then manually delete the entire 'Call of Duty HQ' folder, then re-install. Really terrible design.
Edit:
Also game is 59GB without DMZ mode, just plain Warzone 2023.
