Cool story, but that's not how it works.
Devs confirmed reporting alone does not get you shadow banned.
So do the devs. That's why they posted to clear it up.
anyway you dont get my point, im sure there are others who can feel the situation im in
then you know Ricochet is AI driven and it's how you play not who you play with.
I get your point. You think you are shadow banned because people reported you. I'm just saying that's not the case. Devs have confirmed this. Reporting alone wont get you shadow banned.

"A common misconception we see is that spam reporting will result in actions being taken against accounts. For clarity, whether one player reports another once or multiple times, our system only considers the first report (throttling any additional reports from that player).
Reporting is critical but, must be used in combination with other factors before an account is actioned on. An account, for example, cannot be banned due only to reporting but if that account has also triggered other (and multiple) detections, a report can raise a red flag."
There are a lot of things that can get you shadow banned, and for some strange reason a lot of people don't consider them cheating. Things like AHK, macros or scripts. Spoofing/VPN, or just plain toxicity.
I get more than 10 kills in WZ. Never been shadow banned. I've had people screaming at me in comms that they are going to mass report me, never been shadow banned. Neither has anybody i know or play with.
I was kicked from the server exactly the moment the kid said " Ohh the guy with the nuke skin is cheating in proximity chat" That was the moment i got the shadow ban. If you get high kills like me 20+ the game simply punishes you for being good. Now i have to wait for 10 days to get clean again.
And the devs will tell you what we told you. Reports alone don't get you shadowbanned.

Also to the guy saying reports don't get you shadow banned, lol. MW2 had an exploit where if your team spam reported one guy you could get him kicked and shadow banned. Sure they say they fixed it, but its cod, they've "fixed" several bugs several times and they keep coming back, like infinite stims in WZ.
