Well when you want to play the free trial of modern warfare 3, it pops up with an error message saying you have to download the modern warfare 3 DLC. But you can't since you haven't bought mw3. Its just completely glitched out.

they didn't flag it correctly in the steamapi, it's incompetence, not a trap

Go on the store page for COD then click 'play game' where it says free to play, it will download it for you

Ok so i found a solution lmao! Just look up mw3 in the steam store go to its page and download. Because its the free trial you don't have to pay.

Maybe shouldn't have done the single app id ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so it's obvious I have to activate extra ♥♥♥♥ on the store but now theres 0 reason to check the store page.
