Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 not launching (FIX)

My game stopped launching on 12/14. The fix for me is as follows. In Steam, right click the game and go to Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse, then navigate to cod.exe (it might just show up as cod if you don't show file extensions). Right click and select properties. Go to compatibility mode and UNCHECK "run as administrator". You should now be able to launch from Steam.
