Just turn off! to run as Administrator!!! LOL in Property.

maybe cuz it runs with double Admin? ^^ xD

shouldnt there a screen pop up that asks if Y want to run this or not? win Vista stuff @_@

short for '' executable'' and its also a such Data...

It is a setting in windows browser you don't have checked.

Open win browser -
op top, chose last tab - see that "filetypes and hidden files" are checked

Then you will see all filetypes like .exe

My game was not loading at all after all of this and then EdoDedo's started to do it.

4. Check "Disable full-screen optimisations" and make sure to uncheck the "Run this program as an administrator" option. Click Apply and then OK
5. Your game should now be running.

6. In your windows search bar type in "Graphics Settings" and find your Call of Duty HQ application.
7. Click the Call of Duty HQ button and then "Options"
8. In the options panel make sure to have "High Performance" checked and "Dont use optimisations for windowed games" also checked and then click save.
9. Restart Steam and launch Call of Duty.
when i go in my local files it just says cod and not cod.exe is that fine ?

this still isnt working in my case is there any help? also uninstalled and re installed it

I did all of this and its still not working.

Edit: I verified my files and then went back and unchecked run as admin and dis-able full screen optimization and it worked for me.

All I did was click play in the MW3 store page and it downloaded the missing files
