We went through EVERYTHING! every fix you could think of for the game, changing optimisation settings, changing the properties, verifying local files, uninstalling + reinstalling, cutting the game into another folder and pasting it back into a fresh steam install folder. EVERYTHING.
My game was not loading at all after all of this and then EdoDedo's started to do it.
To fix it you:
1. Go to your Library, Right click Call of Duty and go to your local game folder.
2. Find the cod.exe, left click to highlight it and then right click it, go to properties.
3. Inside the properties screen go to compatability.
4. Check "Disable full-screen optimisations" and make sure to uncheck the "Run this program as an administrator" option. Click Apply and then OK
5. Your game should now be running.
!!IF IT IS STILL NOT RUNNING FOLLOW THESE EXTRAS STEPS!!
6. In your windows search bar type in "Graphics Settings" and find your Call of Duty HQ application.
7. Click the Call of Duty HQ button and then "Options"
8. In the options panel make sure to have "High Performance" checked and "Dont use optimisations for windowed games" also checked and then click save.
9. Restart Steam and launch Call of Duty.
that is not needed to enable that, respective means if Youre NOT then probably enable it....
looks like that is the thing causing this Problems.?
P.S.; and also as Obvious Update all Updateble; like BioS, Drivers and check also Components with Userbenchmark! and take care about RAM Compability with MB if selfbuild, but that caused BlueScreens for ME...
Edit: I should also state this may not be a fix for everyone either.
short for '' executable'' and its also a such Data...
Especially the matchmaking. One might assume that on free weekend you will be put against other lvl 1 players, but no, I played several matches, and in all of those the majority of players were max level.
we dont care how the Game is ..that is an Review stuff, we just troubleshooting here!
Does the PC belong to You or You use someone elses, respectvie do Y have admin rights on Yr profile?
P.S. if Y guys wish to make the game run? feel free to add me and we can see together!
via discord goes fast/est/estes?
Sure, I just wanted to say, if it doesn't run, don't feel bad since it's one of the worst CoD games in the series.
This is my PC, and I am the only user and admin.
The error I kept getting before I ran as admin was 0xc0000005, and it was on EULA screen. So if you get the same error, try to run as admin with or without Full screen optimisations (the game runs in full screen by default, and you won't be able to change it since it crashes before you enter the menu).
Btw, you guys can migrate the Steam version files to Battle.net with "Locate the game files" without redownloading everything.
But I had the exact same issue and error code with the Battle.net version too.
And let's be honest here, I downloaded the Steam version just to be able to leave a review.
so be sure to check that out as mentioned before and also use CCleaner for Drivers.
when that is checked and done, can see further, then...
can i have some of the Specs? CPU,GPU,MB, RAM and win version?
''And let's be honest here, I downloaded the Steam version just to be able to leave a review''??? there are A lot that leave Reviews so, can Y imagine they care if Y have some suggestions?
P.S. doesnt Battle.net have a Help Forum?
