How do you turn off the stupid skins?

Finally got the game to load but it was more like fortnight than call of duty. How do I make it so it does not display skins that are out of context?

The thing with skins is I cant tell which is my team or enemy as easily. Maybe its my old eyes :shrug:

Well considering there's two different factions both of which can't have the same operator, barring some exceptions like maybe some licensed ones, and enemies tend to show up red.

Might be the old eyes.

ITs not easy to tell them apart. Just had a match and one guy had a pink gun on my team so did the enemy along with a cloaked guy with weird smoke, took me a split second to figure out it was an enemy but too late.

that was my fear before jumping into HC in mw2 but i got used to looking for the blue dot above my teams heads that shows even through walls. admittedly its gotten me killed because of coming across an enemy with a teammate on the other side of them in another room, so the enemy looks like a teammate at first.

Well I care, otherwise I would not have looked for a way to turn them off.
It looks stupid, out of place and frankly makes a mockery of what the game used to be.
if there was a way to turn it off so I didnt have to see it then I would buy the game (it would also be a win win, children playing this game who like that crap could still see the skins, those of us more advanced in years who want a competitive pvp game with a proper modern war aesthetic wouldn't have to see them)

I'm just tired of all the Zero skins sitting in dark corners making it nigh impossible to see them. Add in the like, 5-10 other ops with the same issue, boy is it fun when a cosmetic genuinely affects gameplay
