This is why PLUNDER is gone!
Just played one round of this new mode Vondel Lockdown Quads and it is clear as day that they removed PLUNDER because players were getting to much XP from it and leveling to fast. Now you get 90% less XP. Nice try Activision, but nothing in the world will make me buy MWIII. Not even if you sell it for $5

What does that have to do with Plunder? Why remove it if it's not because of the reasons I mentioned?

You make it sound like we can only have one or the other. They just to lazy to add a new mode and decided to replace one instead.

They have had lockdown and plunder up at the same time before in MW2.
Lockdown is an MW2 mode, on an MW2 map. It should stay in MW2 until they put it on Urzikstan.

So they removed plunder just so people would need to grind/keep playing for alot longer for some cosmetics? Such a shame honestly...

Not playing until they bring Plunder back - I'm sure that was their intention.

I bet it was the strat to get a ton of weapon XP by spam buying plates. Honestly if they removed it to fix that, it kind of makes sense. Wasting money is the opposite of the gamemode's objective, to be fair. However, If they removed it just to create FOMO that's pretty scummy.

Even if that was the reason, would that not also affect the other modes? Just put a cap on the amount of plates you can buy at a time.
