Frost blast field upgrade not freezing mimic

Whats up with the frost blast field upgrade not freezing mimics, in the Frostbite zombie mission?? Have tried using this upgrade on dozens of mimics and have only got 2 out 5 to freeze.

Because the mimics from HVT can not be frozen. Others can. It's easyer to do the mission by going to infected strongholds.

U need to go to infested strongholds. On the 2nd floor you usually find a normal one. Without destroying the poostles you should be fine and without danger to reach it. Sometimes they are even on the roof ! (Especially on the Tier 2 Port section)

If you do them via bounties, this does not work indeed. If you come across them normally, they work normally. had the same problem. so just keep looking. to mimics. and ignore the bounties. they don't work. All the money you come across works for this story line
