Buying on steam, do you need battlenet installed?

Hi everyone, I wanted to find out if I buy it on steam do I need to have battle net installed? because I am having issue with battle net. I hope I don't need it.

No. No battle.net needed, not even an account. Just an Activision account and a phone number. You could preemptively test(and download the base files) for it installing Warzone.

Be aware that you get the "Profile Signed out" Error alot on the steam version and never in the bnet version.
The amount of crashes are the same on both platforms tbh. Choose wisely !

^ They didn't add for whatever reason that this happens only on tuesdays. But you do you. Battle.net gets ddos'd randomly a lot and you can get disconnected when you least expect it.

I thought all you had to do is just login with battle net account and that is it.

it's not that scary, it's just the servers dying...at extremely random intervals. At least on Steam you know it happens on Tuesday maintenances so you can just...avoid tuesday maintenances.
