Used Geforce Now and im Shadow Banned Now

Am I more inclined to believe Activision that acknowledged and corrected a problem than a rando that says they were banned for something innocuous? Yes. If Activision said they corrected it and they hadn't the news outlets that broke the "story" would be commenting on it. they would follow up and say "This still happening, these bans weren't resolved."

I would encourage anybody who doesn't own the game and is looking at this and wondering if they'll get banned for using Geforce now, or Razer, or Logitec, or Windows... No. You won't. You can easily find that out with even the mos remedial internet skills. The only "source" these things are happening are literally random forum posts on Steam and reddit.

Linux can't play COD HQ (MW2, MW3, DMZ and Warzone) only way to play the game on Linux is through a Windows Virtual Machine which as stated above will flag a anti-cheat. Anyone can easily see that on the steam page and a 2 second google search

Steam, Reddit and Fourms were the community communicates and works together figuring out easter eggs, strategies in game modes and talking about issues with the game. We are allowed to talk about issues and this is an issue.

Yeah, the original problem, and it's resolution have been covered in multiple gaming media outlets and addressed directly by Activision. You insinuating that they are all lying or covering up the fact that it was never fixed because "a guy" on reddit or a forum said so it literally a conspiracy theory. By literal definition. There were a number of permanent game bans handed out for using GFN. These showed up on your Steam profile.. they fixed the perm ban issue and reversed them for Steam users, that is what the tweet is about..

Shadowbans are still a issue, it is impossible to cheat using a GFN cloud machine.

I have been using Geforce now and the Nvidia filter since last December (mw2). It never got me a shadowban. Even two of my Discord mates also use it without any issues. You must have done something fishy. The game has its flaws but it does not ban people for no reason. If you think you are innocent, take it to Activision support.

I used Geforce Now and it's the only thing that I did differently and it happened a day after I started using the service I got the shadow ban was playing it fine on my main rig for a week+. It's quite the coincidence

Honestly might be I went from playing on my main rig Ryzen 5 5600x, 32 GB ram and RX 6800 XT to Geforce Now and it flagged it for that?

As it uses none of the components Geforce Now machines uses.

You are so naive, I'm not saying they are lying about the first issue as people weren't shadow banned from that they were permanently banned.

I'm saying that a new issue has arisen and it needs to be looked into.

I've pointed out in this thread that you are shadow banned, no banned. Honestly, I'm not surprised your reading comprehension is lacking at this point. It kind of explains a lot.

There is no "new issue" you weren't shadow banned for using Geforce now, you got shadow banned, read on reddit that Geforce now can be banned and ran with it without doing research. It's ironic, You're saying I "don't know the difference between a ban and a shadow ban, and in likelihood, you misread the reddit thread referring to actual bans, thought it meant shadow bans and now you're too far in to admit your confusion, but you have been thoroughly debunked. You're just spamming a conspiracy theory. Yeah I just got shadow banned for logging in through GeForce Now. I know it’s due to that because I was playing on console just fine but as soon as I boot through GeForce I’m searching for 200ms lobbies for an unknown amount of time. I just want to play zombies, man.

Sorry man, hope it doesn't take as long to get checked as mine did but it will most likely be a week it sucks that it stops you from playing a PVE mode but can go play MP with cheaters and other shadow banned people

Played on GeForce now for months. Played MW3 since launch, no shadow ban.
Bought an Xbox yesterday to try MW3 performance on that, didn't like it sold it, and loaded back onto GeForce Now, Played for a couple hours then randomly couldn't find matches under 200ms ping.
When I do find a match, it's full of hackers.
Activision report page says I do not have any current bans so now it's a waiting game until this fixes itself. It's ridiculous.
