MW3 Display Resolution Lock

Why is my display res locked?
I have full screen border less on and i have 1920x1080 and should be 2560x1440
Another ill get through half a game and crash with no error

Borderless should default to your desktop resolution, check your windows desktop resolution to confirm its running 1440. Otherwise, try going fullscreen, setting 1440, then back to borderless.

I use fullscreen exclusive for 2560x1440.

yeah i have done all that my res for desktop is right but doesn't change my game res
ive changed to window to full screen and everything but still stuck on 1920x1080

Try changing aspect ratio or refresh rate. I am forgetting which setting it was that locks it.

It's because of the sharpness upscaling option. If you select Nvidia, it won't work. Try others and you'll see it unlock.
