Voicechat in discord goes to crap whenever cod is launched / tabbed in

So uh, yeah the title? Wtf is going on, been a problem for a few days. For some reason whenever i'm in discord, my mic goes super bad when i'm tabbed into Call of Duty, when i tab out, the issue fixes itself

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Been having the same issue but with an even worse side effect

My audio on my entire desktop keeps having a weird bug when I play the game that causes all audio to sound like it's coming out of a well or from the end of a long tunnel, making everything almost inaudible and the only way I fix it is by switching my mic and audio inputs to a different source like my Valve Index then back to my normal headset, friends also sometimes say my mic goes all staticky and haywire when I play cod sometimes. game gives me ALL sorts of audio issues.

I can only remember that same issue but only when my hardware was old AF and games took every single bit of ressources
