Download whole game?
I had mw2 uninstalled and recently just got mw3. Would I need to download mw2 and nearly all 200 gbs to run mw3 or can i just install the mw3 files?

You should be able to scroll down from library and "manage dlc" just uncheck what u dont want my MWIII was about 60 gigs

No, you can choose size in LIBRARY -> RightClick on COD -> Properties -> DLC.

your best bet is to buy an new ssd and dedicate it to CoD HQ launch service since this thing is very likely going to stick around and need you to get bits and pieces from every cod game going forward from now on
