MW3 not launching once bought and installed

i have just bought a new PC coming from xbox, i am pleased so far but i have just purchased the cod mw3 for PC again since it doesnt transfer over from the xbox but i try to open the game since i just downloaded it but everytime i press play it tries to load and just asks me to press the play button all over again and keeps doing the same thing everytime i press play. any suggestions to fix? mind you i just installed the multiplayer and dlc packs, left the campaign and warzone uninstalled,would that have an effect?
