Is MW3 actually that bad?

As a CoD player since MW2 2009, I hear a lot of bad stuff based on MW3 2023's campaign, but not anything bad about Multiplayer. Is this game worth getting if I only care about the Multiplayer aspect of it?

I've been enjoying the multiplayer, that's the only reason I play COD these days and I've been playing since the og COD1. It's fashionable to hate on COD, and they certainly made some mistakes with this one... but the MP works juuuuuust fine. At least for me....

I will say the matchmaking is kinda butts though, takes me from one extreme to the other back and forth. One game I'll dominate with ease, next game I get dominated, then I dominate, then get dominated.

Campaign is terrible
Mp looks ok, but I’m saving money for next year, besides I already have MW2, I don’t need to play Multiplayer

Zombies community is a bit whiny, but CoD has too many server and technical issues for DMZ I mean MWZ to work properly

Multiplayer has HORRENDOUS SBMM. The worst ive ever seen and noticeably worse than MW2. Game feels and plays similar to MW2 but slightly worse in my opinion. Dont like the new TTK. Dont like how random guns feel now. Dont like the adjustments to kill steaks.

The spawns on alot of the maps are awful. Im sure that part will get worked out in time. Probably the issue with the gun inconsistencies too. I cannot get past the SBMM so i refunded.

I am enjoying it but the unlock system is bad. They copied Battlefield's whole grind just to use a different weapon of that class (this is why I dropped Battfield). I also can't stand how small the maps are, especially Rust. I always leave if I get that map. Overall the large scale multiplayer and Zombies is really fun to me. I haven't played COD since World at War. Its weird what it is now.

They have nice juicy player skins to waste your money at so yeah, buy the game and support activision to make more skins.

The TTK is higher than the beta, they have adjusted the damage the gun output so it's hard to run anything that doesn't 1 shot because of the maps being so large, also why do they keep increasing the killstreak requirements?
