Joining Friends party (can't join)

Hi,

So I am having issues joining my friends party (all friends)
They can join me and we can find matches.
Settings:
Everything is set to open.
I am not sure what else to try.

Happy to show any screen shots if needs be but this is a clear bug hopefully others had this issue to and knows how to fix.

I got this fixed. It's down to having crossplay switched off on Playstation. If you have it on PS or you have the activision account linked to an old cod on PS, you need to go onto it on PS or xbox and turn crossplay on to play with others on PC.

Might be a little hard for some of that don't own both things (console or console edition of COD) I have not played COD in years last time I did was on pc.

FIX: At least worked for me. I imported the modern warfare 2 settings and it fixed the problem. I never touched the new MW2 so I'm not sure how it's correlated but it worked for me. Give it a try,

where did you get it from?

If anyone is having this problem still, all you need to do is go into account and network in settings and select import legacy settings and choose mw2. This worked for me and I hope it helps!

Import your mw2 settings and it should work it just worked for my friend and he never even bought mw2 lol

I fixed it, I did the legacy Mw2, however it did not work so I deleted the documents after I did the legacy, it now works! (Document folder I deleted the Call Of Duty MW3 folder) make sure you do legacy first.

This seems to be a Steam orientated issue... I tried verifying files and there were 62 issues found but issue still persists..

it is on the legacy in the game, just add me I will send you a discord link and I will guide from screen sharing.

1 open the general menu
2 go to account & network
3 go to import legacy settings
4 click on mw2 icon.
