Is buying MW3 for the campaign alone worth it?

I enjoyed the old modern warfare games and have played mw2019 and interested to see if mw3 campaign is good. I watched the modern warfare 2 2022 campaign as i skipped buying it due too it being a quite mediocre game. Hopefully this campaign is worth it.

if that's the only part you're interested it then definitely not. it's not even so much that it's extremely short, it just kind of ends out of nowhere with no resolution. i enjoyed what story there was but it really felt like it was only half a campaign and it doesn't feel like a cod campaign at all. i'd just watch a stream if you want caught up on the story

it´s a bit the Crysis/FarCry COD campaign this time, if you enjoyed the open world combat in those games you´ll probably enjoy this.

if you want a linear, scripted "cinematic" campaign on rails like the old CODs probably not so much..

the price is too high for just the SP campaign, if you really just interested in SP wait for a sale.

I had my fun with it and I find it better than MW22 but I bought mainly for MP.

tell me exactly how and why you think it´s a lot worse, I am just interested.

MW2 campaign was a slogfest, jumping from car to car, searching for some crap to build a crap weapon, the ridiculous tank boss, an eternity of boring AC-130 mission that never ends and little to no actual good fights or good levels in between.

it also was a 4 hours campaign at best with just like 2 hours of decent levels maybe, the rest was fluff.

Hell no, the only good thing was the first mission. After that, it got lazy with the "Open World Combat" which use the Warzone map as the campaign. Think Solo Warzone/DMZ. You can beat the game in 3 hours if you just do the straight objectives.

you just heard this BS from some youtuber, there is nothing lazy in the "warzone" maps, they have good layouts and are carefully crafted.
