Lets talk campaign [SPOILERS]
MW19 had a good story with good gameplay, solid enough experience, I felt satisfied spending £200 for it.
MW22 had a terrible story, however it made up for this with fantastic gameplay that I personally thought surpassed MW19. Once again, felt satisfied with my purchase.

Where the hell do I even start with MW23?
Well, TL;DR = MW23 has an alright story but has mid gameplay, it also feels like a copy and paste with its mission structure (rushed) . The game is too short , and a cliffhanger ending - I'm not satisfied with purchase and feel scammed.

I had issses when it was announced not even a year after MW22, however since 2017 there has not been a single campaign I dislike, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and pre ordered to play what I would assume be a banger campaign.

First mission was a blast, raid the Gulag, secure 627 and extract from the area. From this point onwards I had high expectations.

Second mission onwards is where the game spirals. You play as Farah and... Alex is alive? Graves is alive? I understand these were shown through warzone cinematics but I had no clue why they were Farah and Alex were Allied with Graves, or who the "Konni" were until after the mission yet the characters seemed to know all about the Konni . Some context to what was going on would have been nice because during this mission I was just confused. It was also the first "open" mission, the majority of the "open" missions just feel like single player coop missions, and are really bland.

With the mission 'passenger' I felt legitimately scammed, I was expecting something similar to No Russian from MW2[2009] considering at the end of MW22 they showed off terrorists arming up on a plane then sending a text saying "No Russian", and 141 even mention Makarov by name at the end. This mission was basically a long cutscene that disguises itself as a mission.

The detail from previous games are gone, for example on the "Crash sight" mission its night time but I couldn't take shoot out the lights like MW19 to conceal myself in darkness for stealth. The light indicator on the left side of the NVG straight up doesn't work and despite being nighttime the enemies can see you from far distances , which to me doesn't make sense because this mission emphasises stealth since there are massive groups of heavily armored enemies, plus its night and you have suppressed weapons yet taking them head on results in you being bum rushed and not being able to handle the ounslaught of heavies.

I cant be bothered to write about every mission in detail so here is a list of all missions with GOOD/MID/BAD ratings
Operation 627 - GOOD
Precious Cargo - BAD,
Reactor - MID
Payload - GOOD
Deep Cover - BAD
Passenger - BAD (in comparison to No Russian)
Crash Sight - BAD
Flashpoint - MID
Oligarch - MID
Highrise - GOOD
Frozen Tundra - MID
Gora Dam - GOOD
Danger Close - MID
Trojan Horse - BAD

This is my opinion, so don't let if influence yours

Its also worth mentioning that the open missions feel like they should be coop missions, so its a surprising that we didn't see the return of a coop campaign like we had in WaW. I think the campaign would have been slightly better if we could do the open levels coop and this could have also served as a replacement for coop since its missing from this game and replaced with zombies.
The game also ends abruptly, and Soaps death felt sloppy at best.
One good thing is that the story is a MAJOR improvement over MW22 and I liked it quite a lot... shame it ends on a cliffhanger... Now Im going to look stupid for buying MW4.

I suggest, if you care for the camPAIN of MW2.5 more than multiplayer, just wait until this goes on sale, as for me and sticking around since I enjoy multiplayer... will regret this decision in a few weeks but thats my own fault, and I dont even think I can refund even if I wanted to.

Also this is a hot take, but even Vanguard had a better campaign from what I played using my bros copy

MW2019's gameplay was much better than MWII.

The movement was slower and more natural. The tip of the gun pointed downwards, bringing greater realism. There was no tactical sprint in the campaign (for multiplayer it might be good, but in the context of realism that MW reboot presented, it's visually ridiculous).

The MW 2019 campaign is a diamond. MWII is weak. MWIII is terrible - maybe only the gulag mission and a few other moments are good.

Another thing: The night vision stealth indicator hasn't worked properly since the first MWII mission.

And notice how in this mission you mentioned, Farah doesn't even have the night vision equipment on her head, but the game pretends that she does.

In the mission with Ghost, he has night vision on his skin, but there is no night vision in the mission...

There is a lack of care in this game. It's regrettable.

I feelt that the campaign was boring as hell

just finished the campaing minutes ago, IT WAS A BLAST.
as DMZ enjoyer, it was like playing a huge single player DMZ super DLC.
I really enjoyed as much as mw2 campaing.
it's the same lenght and everything, no idea why people is saying it's a 4 hour campaing, It took me at least 6 hours or even more in veteran + watching the cinematics.
the ending was pretty crude, for adults imo, MW4 is about to get spooky, when price gets thirsty for blood.

so far, I loved it, I would give it a good 8/10.

There are crazy people to everything.

Good for you.

I particularly consider this one of the worst campaigns ever made. It's a Warzone with bots. Laziest thing I've ever seen in the series.

Thats why I hate it
It just feels like single player DMZ
I paid for campaign, I was expecting levels like Clean House and piccadilly from MW19, I was expecting levels like ALONE ,El Sin Nombre , Borderline and Tradecraft from MW22 (I loved all the missions from that game)

MW 2019 campaign is definitely one of the best. A solid 9.

But MW II's falls apart and MW III's haven't played or watched barely anything but for what i've been reading I can say it's worse than the botched thing called COD Vanguard. :blang:

If you've been reading from soft brained morons then I bet they say it's worse than Vanguard. I've read some reviews and man does the military operations go above their tiny minds. The story was a 6/10 just cause it's rushed to all hell. If they had time to iron things out then it'll be better. The gameplay OF the campaign is 4/10. Not fun at all for the most part.
