MW3 Graphics Downgrade

It's me or in comparison with MW2, the graphics have clearly dropped in quality ?!

and yet the minimum requirements are higher than mw2 lol.

fun fact: the reason for that is that they want people to buy new hardware to play the game when it's not even needed because they invest in hardware producers like nvidia and amd.

I have an RTX 4090 with DLSS 3... I have an average of 120 fps but it's still ugly compared to MW2, there's no doubt!

pretty sure it's a scam if the game doesn't actually require you to upgrade your hardware but the developers artificially set the min specs higher to incite people to upgrade to hardware that the devs are invested in.

it's pretty much a ponzi scheme except rather than investing in their product people are just buying it. - they make lots of $ off of people who upgrade hardware to play the game.

im telling you right now the ONLY thing good about MW3 is estate.

there's no real graphical improvements, it's literally using the same exact engine as MW2 and including DLSS isn't a graphical improvement btw, it could be implemented in mw2 as well so if you think that's an improvement im sorry to tell you this but they didn't invent DLSS and putting it into MW3 doesn't make the game require better hardware because it's literally a setting that can be turned off.

they didn't upgrade the engine, and none of the graphics actually require better hardware than MW2s min specs.

but MW3 has higher min specs than MW2 because they want people to upgrade their hardware.

it's hilarious that THIS VERY APP uses MW2s own min specs, yet it has a game within the app that uses higher min specs?

Wasn't there also mentioned a ~64GB high texture pack of sort? It only downloaed like 30ish GB for the campaign and that's it? Cause some texture are very low res, like veeery.

I've noticed a drop on texture quality compared to the previous MWs not sure if it's the texture bug that also plagued the old games or it's just ♥♥♥♥ in general

I ran it with my half-baked potato. I tell people all the time that new doesn't always mean it's optimized for what they are doing with it. New Cards are mainly for graphical design and things that actually require that kind of GPU power anyway. No one really looks at things like ray tracing and all that unless they are playing a super atmospheric walking simulator.
